For my self portrait I took 7 pictures of myself and then combined them together on to one picture. I used a camera and photoshop to create the final design. The concept behind my portrait was to show how although I may be teased a bunch at school, I too do the teasing, gossiping, and ignoring. The lockers represent the school aspect, the two mes in the center represent the gossiping. The me in the fetal position represents the victim or teased individual. The mes pointing and laughing represent the teasers, and finally the mes with their backs turned represent the people who ignore whats going on. I like the unity in the colors however it does make it hard to see, I also like the unity in using all one person. I liked the overall project and since it fits well in the 2D design since it uses aspects of design and it is 2D. I would probably do some changes if I were to add this into my portfolio however.

I think you started with a great idea, but you need to take it farther. Experiment with variety of the selves. Consider varying their size or color or both. Consider the space and create more depth to the 2D image. What about design principles? What were you trying to emphasize? Develop the concept further because it is a strong idea.
